Professional Punters is a new podcast about the traders, investors, founders, and risk-takers finding edge across modern markets. We will be covering DeFi, prediction markets, sports betting, memecoins, perpetual futures, equities, options, and whatever other strange corner of the market happens to attract serious risk-taking.
This is not a podcast about playing it safe. It is not going to be limited to perfectly diversified portfolios, efficient frontiers, or textbook asset allocation. It is about how people actually find edge, build conviction, manage risk, and decide when a trade is worth taking.
For our first episode, we are starting with someone who embodies that spirit.
Our guest began trading prediction markets independently and got so good that he was recruited by a professional trading firm. He became one of the largest liquidity providers and takers on BTC five-minute markets, operating in one of the fastest, strangest, and most competitive corners of modern trading.
In the episode, we talk through how he found edge, what the market looked like when the opportunity was still underappreciated, the strategies that used to work but no longer do, and the ones that may still have real edge today.
